All those days watching from the windows
All those years outside looking in
All that time never even knowing
Just how blind I've been
Now I'm here, blinking in the starlight
Now I'm here, suddenly I see
Standing here, it's all so clear
I'm where I'm meant to be

People always think fairytales are meant for little children. That we’re too old to watch, or it’s childish. But you can really learn a thing or two from a child’s tale. Whenever I watch a Disney film, I feel so safe. Feel like I can forget all of my worries and just be myself for a little while. There’s no rules, no boundaries, just magic. And I haven’t really felt that magic in a really long time. Not until just recently.

Yesterday I went to go see a movie called Tangled. I went in excited, hoping to be amused for the two hours I’d be there. But I ended up getting so much more than I thought. I felt so much, and experienced a life time while watching the movie. It taught me so much about being a good human. Taught me to chase me dreams. Taught me to never give up. It seems silly to some, but I find myself in movies like this. I learn more about myself each and every time I see a pure and innocent film like Tangled. By the end of the film I realized that there’s more to life than just what we see. It’s more than just being caught up in our own lives. And much more than thinking about ourselves.

It’s about never stop believing. Never stop hoping, never stop loving, and at last being able to see the light. To see a new sky.
