Have you ever stopped to think who you’ve hurt,
Whose life you’ve ruined
Or who you have betrayed.

It’s always the other way around. We always concentrate on whose hurt us, and how much we’re in pain. It’s never about anyone else is it? We all scream at the top of our lungs and weep until we’re satisfied.

Satisfied with what? Hurting others?

Sometimes I start to question myself. I know I’ve hurt people in the past, I know I’ve made mistakes but, it’s all a part of being human. The part that makes us good people is acknowledging those mistakes and realized we were wrong. And it never hurts to apologize, and sadly it’s something some people never learn to do. I’ve been selfish too in my lifetime, and I had moments when I only thought of myself. But the thing with me is, with given time, I realize my mistakes and I apologize. My conscious eats me up until I seek forgiveness. I don’t regret being selfish at the same time either. At times we do need to think of ourselves. It’s not right to not think of the well being of yourself. We just need a good balance.

Just how beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, so is satisfaction. The satisfaction to cause pain.
